CNC Operator
Machine operator will work in production, operating equipment associated with the delivery of Able Tool Company Inc. products to customers. Responsible for understanding and meeting specifications and requirements of customer as well as regulatory or statutory requirements. Will perform and record results of first piece and subsequent in-process inspections. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Responsible for reporting nonconforming product in accordance with documented procedures.
Essential Functions of Position
- Operates equipment, including CNC lathes, CNC mills, conventional equipment, etc.
- Performs routine and minor maintenance on equipment.
- Ensures understanding of requirements and that finished product meets requirements.
- Identifies and reports nonconforming product
- Performs first-piece and in-process inspections.

- First shift; Monday-Friday

Shipper-Driver
Job Description
The shipper-driver cleans and packages products for shipment per customer specifications. The person performing this role will be responsible for delivering products to vendors and customers, as well as assisting in receipt of materials. The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, organized, and efficient.
Essential Functions of Position
- Prepares in-process products for shipment and outside services.
- Prepares finished product for shipping per instructions/paperwork.
- Assists in loading shipments and unloading deliveries.
- Delivers in-process products to sub-contractors and delivers finished product to customer.
- Assists in receiving materials.

Apprentice Machinist
Job Description
Full-time, paid opportunity facilitated through NTMA to train qualified, competent candidates to become journeymen machinists. Apprentices will be educated in the skills of the machinist trade both on the job and during a weekly night class over a four year period.
Essential Functions of Position
- Learn to operate equipment including CNC lathes, CNC mills, and conventional equipment.
- Learn to program equipment as appropriate.
- Learn to ensure understanding of requirements and that finished product meets requirements.
- Learn to perform first-piece and in-process inspections.
- Learn to identify and report non-conforming product.

- Night class; once weekly, four hours
